Welcome to the Clan Pipers website. We are Germany’s oldest pipe band which was founded in 1974. We simply love playing traditional Scottish pipe band music.

As one of the best-known pipe bands in Germany and in Continental Europe, we have been playing gigs at home and abroad for nearly 50 years, and for almost as many years we’ve been travelling pipe band competitions in Germany, continental Europe and Scotland.

Would you like to join the band and create an unforgettable experience for audiences with the unique sound of the pipes, the snare drums and the bass and tenor drums?

Our aim is to play authentic pipe band music to a high standard, and to this end we work with independent music schools and teachers of Scottish pipe band music. Training is on a one-to-one basic or in small groups. We also regularly invite teachers from Scotland for workshops which result in big advances.
